David Hill

David has been a financial advisor with SGC Financial and Insurance Services, Inc. in Sacramento, California for over 22 years. He is a long-standing member of NAIFA and MDRT, as well as a founding member of Sacramento Professional Associates of VISTAGE, world’s largest CEO membership organization.

David passionately supports his clients to develop a cohesive, comprehensive financial direction—one that may address cash flow awareness, net worth enhancement, asset accumulation, risk management, tax mitigation, estate planning, with clarified attention to intentions, goals, and aspirations. He is well versed in creating business plans and strategies, including business continuation, executive benefits, and group benefits for a wide variety of business owners, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations.

A passion for mountain climbing was awakened twenty years ago with a first unsuccessful climb of 14,162’ Mt. Shasta. 11 subsequent climbs, along with summiting a variety of 19,000’-23,000’ peaks in Africa, South America, and Alaska, as well as aspiring to climb all fifteen 14,000’ summits in California, are his expression of living life fully. David speaks enthusiastically to various groups about the lessons learned—metaphors for lessons that determine the success and/or failure of your business or life.

Community service has been integral to an enriching life. He has been Head Sponsor for teenagers(14-18 yrs) in the Unity Church for eight years. He has been a Board member of the same church for six years, as well as a founding parent and Board member of the Camellia Waldorf School in Sacramento for seven years.

Family includes his wife of 25 years and their three children. He enjoys weekly dates, extensive travel, and the adventure of life with his wife, Janna. Sacramento has been home for 30 years.

David aspires to overall well-being, reflected in a Balance of professional, personal, and spiritual interests, as well as a physical fitness program, including circuit training, yoga, aerobics, racquetball, skiing, and mountain climbing.
