Joseph Winslow is a Financial Advisor with SGC Financial & Insurance Services in San Mateo. He specializes in providing alternatives to the traditional brokerage community since 1990. He joined SGC Financial & Insurance Services in order to help fully meet the financial management needs of his clients. As a Registered Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc., Joe is also able to provide customized implementation to his clients through a full range of analysis, team expertise, and asset management strategies.

Joe has consistently been a proven advisor with Securian by helping clients simplify their lives and gain control of their economic futures. He also enjoys working with self-employed individuals, executives, emerging businesses and foundations to create business programs that grow with them and offer tax-advantages benefits.

Through the financial services industry and his company Joe has earned many memberships for excellence. Including The Top of the Table membership in the Million Dollar Round Table, President’s Club and Circle of Excellence Membership through Securian Financial Services. He was also given the Leading Contributor Award in 2003 with SGC Financial & Insurance Services.

Joe has successfully completed the College for Financial Planning professional education program, and is also a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants. Joe holds a degree in finance from the University of North Texas and is a Senior Associate with SGC Financial & Insurance Services, a financial services company.

Joe is an alumnus of Leadership Palo Alto, a group geared towards training participants for one year on leadership abilities. Joe is also a member of three professional organizations, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Financial Planning Association (FPA) and Premier Resource Group (PRG). He also enjoys amateur bicycle racing, golf and skiing. Joe lives in Menlo Park, California along with his wife Sheila, daughter Kathryn, son Andre and their many animals.
