Robert Avey has been with SGC Financial and Insurance Services since 1995. A 1986 graduate of Santa Clara University, Robert’s role is to integrate his marketing and management background with the challenges of delivering quality service to an extensive array of clients and producers.

In addition to maintaining his personal list of clients, Robert directs the administrative staff and acts as a liaison with many of the companies providing products to SGC's clients.

Robert and his wife Martha, live in San Jose with their children, Lauren, Michael and Sarah. Robert earned his Eagle Scout Award in 1976, and continues to enjoy family camping trips with Martha and the kids. Robert and Martha enjoy traveling and have an interest in visiting historic places around the United States. Antiques, stamps, and coins are some of the other interests that Robert dabbles with in his spare time.

Robert has earned the LUTCF designation and is on target to earn his ChFc designation in the near future.
